NPL Site Experience
These are some of the National Priority List of Hazardous Waste Sites I have helped with. Many come from my days as the Geochemist with the USEPA Field Investigation Team for the Investigation of Uncontrolled Toxic Waste Sites. Listed here by location, most sites were clandestine or abandoned with names like Solvent Savers, Lone Pine, Cemetery, Kin-Buc, Smuggler Mine and Auto Ion. Each link will bring you to the EPA page that lists the current state of site, where you can also find maps and other important documents. Many more of the sites which are not shown became state-led efforts, and others still are at ongoing operations and were subject to different enforcement scenarios.
